2.5 Weeks

2.5 Weeks Old

It has been a crazy week with birthdays and activities for the kids. Puppies have been well loved and cared for, but it took a bit for me to sit and get this blog updated. I apologize, and will try to do it on wed when they are 3 weeks old. The puppies all have their eyes open now, and they are beginning to get up on all fours and attempting to walk, instead of army crawl. They are doing lots of face plants as they learn, and the kids love to watch and laugh. They have also started to try to bark. That has got to be one of the cutest things ever. Another favorite milestone they reach, is when they discover each other. Now that they have their eyes open, they have begun to bite each others faces. I will try to get more videos of that. I post those mostly on instagram, so watch there for them.

The biggest puppy at the moment is Puppy 5 at 3.3 pounds. Smallest is Trooper at 1.10 pounds. They are all so sweet and beginning to show their personalities. We sure love having puppies.

10 Days Old

The puppies have had a busy week with lots of visitors. They are growing so fast, and getting stronger every day. Lady is very attentive, but is loving some free time between feeds. Enjoy some pictures I took this evening. Trying to do group pictures of puppies, is like trying to take pictures of 7 newborns all looking the same direction. But I think I succeeded. I think this first one is my favorite.

Sorry, I didn't get great shots of this little man. He was not happy with me holding him up for pictures, and I was on my own this evening doing it one handed. But he has one eye starting to open. By next pictures he should be looking at me.
