2 weeks old

This week has gone well. The puppies are growing. We are just barley seeing some eyes opening. They are exactly 2 weeks today. I am surprized that we don't see them all open, but they were a few days early, so that could be why.

Some of them are starting to get up on all 4's to walk. They are very unsteady, but do get moving pretty fast. Which is funny considering they are still blind and deaf. They have an amazing sense of smell. If Roxy is anywhere near them, they all wake up and go crazy trying to locate her. Tucker has taken a big liking to them. He is feeling very protective of them and of Roxy. I took them both for a bath this weekend, and Tucker was so worried about Roxy when it was her turn. It is so interesting to watch him be so protective of these pups.

Anyhow, here are their week 2 pictures. If you have ever tried to take photos of a two week old puppy by yourself, you will understand the difficulty I had. I got to pictures once the rest of my house went to bed. Next week, I will be hiring my children for the photo-shoot. And the puppies will most definitely have their eyes open by then.
